English Fox Hounds Outshine Yanks in Fox Hunt Test
The article compares English fox hounds with American breeds, noting English hounds hunt by sight and excel in strength and courage, while American packs adapt to American conditions. Results from Virginia tests favored the American hound, but debates over which breed suits the climate and terrain continue. English stock from Scotland and England is emphasized as best for Britain, with American dogs winning on the day but not conclusively superior overall.
