Wm. Rauscher of Huntingburg announces candidacy for Treasurer of Dubois County subject to the Democratic primary on April 15. He previously ran four years ago and was narrowly defeated. Born in Potaka township he moved to Huntingburg nine years ago, runs a meat market, and serves as director and treasurer of the Huntingburg Canning Factory.
The Tell City resident John Sweeney is named as a candidate for State Senator in the Joint Senatorial primary on April 15, 1910. The endorsement notes his years of legislative service, integrity, and advocacy for taxpayers. It argues Perry County deserves the seat after years of alternating representation.
