A baseball team from Apalona in Perry county beat the Giants 5 to 2 last Sunday. Lagrange held the Giants with a twister and eight strikeouts for each side, while Quante also pitched well. The Boonville Fair dates and other local notices fill the column, including community gatherings, marriages, and business notices.
Notice to taxpayers in Ferdinand Dubois County Indiana that the Sept 4 1922 meeting of town officers will consider the General Fund budget totaling 2774 dollars and a bond fund of 780 dollars. The annual St. Martin's church picnic at Siberia will be held Sunday September 10. The Ferdinand Band will perform and crowd turnout is expected to be large. All are invited for a day of food and music in Perry County.
