Impressive Wedding at St Ferdinand Church

On Monday morning April at 7 30 the wedding of Gilbert Joseph Schwenk of Ireland Indiana and Ida Anna Metzger of Ferdinand took place at St Ferdinand's church. The ceremony was by Rev Ignatius Wilkens O F M of Louisville with Edward and Francis Metzger as altar servers.

The Ferdinand Board of Trustees schedules a special meeting for Tuesday April 2 at 8 30 p m in the town school hall to hear taxpayers views on future arrangements for the electric light plant. The Dubois County Treasurer will sell at 10 AM on April 20 1921 at the county courthouse Jasper Indiana highway improvement bonds with a face value of 30000 bearing 4.5 percent interest payable semi annually for 15 years. Bonds issued under Indiana law to fund road construction in Ferdinand township. Thirty bonds of 1000 each dated October 15 1920. First due May 15 1922 with semiannual payments thereafter.
