A local note describes farming prospects dimming for the year while residents face warnings to slow down and seek faith. Mrs. Glen Brown is ill, and Mr. J. M. Moore of Oak Grove visited on Saturday. G. L. Brown and his family traveled to Atlanta Friday.
A fatal shooting left J A Stinchcomb and W M Brown dead after an Aberdeen incident Saturday evening. J A Stinchcomb was buried Sunday, W M Brown Monday at Ebenezer. Andrew Stinchomb jailed in Fayetteville. Prominent locals affected. condolences offered.
Elder Fuller filled his appointment here Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Evelyn Heath of Waco visited relatives here the past week. A few measles cases are reported in the community. B. B. Teel and wife of Hast Point spent Sunday with their aunt Mrs. Annie Stanley. Mrs. Mittie Hartley stayed with her brother G. W. Jackson and wife Saturday night. Miss Daisy Jackson visited Sunday with Miss Lizzie Hartley while James Huddleston and family visited Uncle Billie Gles and family.
Fayette County Georgia Easter Bauknight has filed for twelve months support from the estate of Jesse Bauknight. Appraisers have filed returns and the Court of Ordinary is to hear objections on the first Monday in June 1920. May 1, 1920. J. J. Davis Ordinary. It pays to advertise. Advertise now. A busy weekend with singing at New Hope drawing a large crowd. Numerous visitors from Atlanta, Kenwood, and nearby areas joined local families for visits and church events. Miss Irene Dixon is reported ill with wishes for a speedy recovery.
The family of Mrs Annie Stanley thanks relatives and friends for helping buy a reclining chair for their mother. The chair will aid her mobility and assist in moving her between rooms. May each well wisher be rewarded for their kindness.
