Rook Club Social and Passing of Mr Drennan
The Rook club met last Wednesday with Miss Ethel Eastin. Guests enjoyed punch and a salad course followed by cream and cake. Mr. John H. Drennan died at Wesleyan Memorial Hospital after illness since Sunday. Funeral was led by Rev WJ DeBardeleb. He left a widow and nine children near here.

Revival Services At The Baptist Church In Fayetteville
