Mr Brown argues that cutting acreage will push prices up in 40 to 50 days and lift this year’s crop value. Reports from many nations indicate feed shortages, signaling high livestock costs. In a rural county, producing all essentials appears wise and profitable.
A Tuesday night blaze at the Fayetteville Oil Company seed rooms sparked flames that consumed four negro dwellings, two stores, a barn, and several sheds. Total losses exceeded $190,000 with multiple uninsured damages and most of the town aiding in early containment. Insurance covered about $25,000 for the mill and freight losses.

Rev C A Adams of Sandy Creek to preach at Bethany next Sunday morning at 1 o clock. Farmers busy preparing ground and gardening. Mr J G Harris traveled to Atlanta last week. J R Harris and wife and J G Harris and mother visited John Horton near Fairburn Sunday afternoon. Mrs Carrie Willington improved from illness. Miss Alma Rivers and Vesta Milan of Fairburn attended church. Mrs Belle Walker and Mrs Mollie Ellington visited Uncle George Digby at the Davis Fischer Sanitarium. Mr and Mrs S Harris made a trip to the city Monday.
Rev C A Adams led services at Line Creek with plans for Easter exercises and cradle roll rally on the third Sunday in April at 2 30 PM. Local attendees included Mollie Chandler ill Ralph Whitlock new buggy Mittie Brown and families from Oak Grove North Aberdeen and Sharpsburg.
Lanterns of horn were used by Greeks and Romans with lamps placed inside to light homes on moonless nights.
