Mrs Hester Avrea Stubbs died Monday night at her home on the Avren place. She was the youngest daughter of I B Avrea and was two years married to Walter Stubbs. The infant died two weeks ago. Burial was Tuesday at Fayetteville cemetery after funeral services led by Rev W H Speer. Dr W J Blalock of Atlanta visited the home Wednesday afternoon. Local items note various residents and events including pig shows, visitors from Gainesville and Atlanta, a fatal railroad death of Milton Crawford, and updates on Henry Spurlin’s health.
