Fragmented OCR shows Rev L P Gales preaching on Sundays with morning and evening services and midweek meetings. Miss Mary Lou Graham chaired the church, with Rev W J Devfrat and W B Hol as superintendent of Sunday school and weekly league meetings.
Community ads list potato sales by Dorsett and Dixon and Burks family updates from Atlanta. Farm items include seed availability, egg sales, and school events with the County Dehions Association meeting at Lisbon. Notices mention taxes, local officials, and agricultural talk to teachers and students.
The Baptist ladies announce a series of prayer meetings for next week with a Monday session led by Mrs. L. C. Dickson and Mrs. T. R. Gay, a Tuesday with the Misses Graham and Miss Lotchie Martin, and a Wednesday gathering at Burka House led by Mrs. J. W. Blackwell. All ladies of the town are invited.

The passing of a respected sister is noted with tribute to her patience and faith. Rev. L. P. Glass preached two sermons in Lisbon, while Mrs. Newt Griffin nears death with daughter Jennie Mashburn at her side. A long sick list includes several residents and local social visits are reported.
Reverend James E. Turner of Flat Creek area died after a two week pneumonia illness. Born near Inman he served in several local churches and was highly respected by county residents. Survived by his wife Minie Jackson and five children. funeral conducted by Revs. DeBardeleben Glass Walker Dodd.
In Leeward notes from the Least Side, Mr B Thorn ton reports he and Mrs Thorn ton may not return home before May if conditions stay favorable. He enjoys walking to a lake and fishing, while collecting oranges and grapefruit. Paul Leach of Aberdeen recalls his grandmother Aunt Mary Leach, the last living relative with a Confederate Army son, W A Leach of Company F Second Georgia Cavalry. Mamie Tarpley of Helmer visits Fayetteville relatives.
Our town reports widespread illness with wishes for speedy recovery. Farmers struggle yet make progress on a new crop. bad weather slows them. Mr. Lewis Burdette moves from East Point to join our community. A new telephone line from Union City will benefit residents. Funeral services for Mrs. J. M. Matthews at Mt. Pisgah church were led by Rev. Dodd and Rev. Brown. Mrs. Matthews, longtime resident and Baptist member, leaves a daughter Mrs. H D Cook and many friends. She had been bedridden for some time.
After a week of intense suffering Albert Hardy of Brooks died Friday at 3 o'clock and was buried at Digby Saturday with Rev. S E Scott officiating. Schoolmates served as pallbearers and teachers paid tributes as the entire school viewed the remains. The community extends sympathy to the family.
