County Teachers meet at Little Flock on March 25
The county Teachers association schedules its next meeting at Little Flock on Saturday March 25 and urges every teacher to attend. The Baptist church conducts an every member canvass to support missions and will meet obligations monthly. Duplex envelopes are in use. Local firms offer home canned tomatoes and beans including M. E. Murphy and several Blalock and Berry firms.

Sad Deaths of Luther Preston and Judge Kitchens
Luther Preston died at his home two miles south of Fayetteville from pneumonia after a brief decline. He leaves a large family, and his remains were laid to rest in Woolsey cemetery with Masonic honors. Judge J W Kitchens, longtime merchant and active community figure, died last night after frail health. He was Past Master of the Blue Lodge and Past High Priest of Fayetteville Arch Chapter, and his funeral will be held in Fayetteville cemetery with Masonic honors.
