James R. Gray Dies Suddenly in Atlanta
James R. Gray editor of the Atlanta Journal died suddenly Monday night after returning from a trip to New York and Washington. He suffered apoplexy and passed away at home at 9:80. Gray, born September 20, 1859, had led the Journal since 1901 and chaired the Southern AP section. He leaves wife and five children. funeral at Peachtree Road home with private interment. city courts closed in respect.
