A Good Man Gone
Obituary notice for R M Henderson a longtime county resident born October 26 1827 in Henry County died at home on Jonesboro Street after years of ill health. He served in the Confederate army and moved from four miles southeast of the county seat to Fayetteville later in life. Survived by wife Elizabeth Jones two daughters Essie Henderson Nora Garrison and several grandchildren. Funeral held at the Baptist church with interment in Fayetteville cemetery.

Death of Claud Wilder at Mt Springs
A sad death occurred last Saturday at 5 p m in Mt Springs as Claud Wilder died after one week of pneumonia. He served as main support for his aged parents and sister. He belonged to Antioch church where Bro J S Knowles led funeral services from John 14 before burial in Antioch cemetery.
