Henry Nations serves customers politely, especially ladies, underlining inviting patronage. Dr Shoop's Restorative marketed as a nerve and organ support remedy sold by Dixon Drug Store.
F M Banks died at his home two miles north of Fayetteville on April 8 1910 after long cancer of the face. Born Sept 12 1883 at Banks plantation he served in Harts corps Alabama artillery in the Civil War era and married twice. Survived by wife Malissa Stanley earlier wife Mahala Giles and 15 children 11 living. Brothers W L Banks Joseph N Banks and sister Permelia Farrer survive. He was known for honesty and kindness to family and friends.
Springfield resident B F Kelley describes a year of image and bladder troubles with headaches, then reports improvement after taking Foley Kidney Pills. He says headaches disappeared and bladder function returned to normal, ending distress.
Ordinary's Advertisement notes Johnny Simpson as administrator of Thomas Simpson's estate in Fayette County Georgia. He petitions to be discharged from administration and to receive letters of dismission on the first Monday in June 1910. Creditors and kin are cited to show cause why discharge should not be granted.
R L Glass estate in Fayette County Georgia faces a petition for permanent letters of administration filed by Lester C Dickson. Notice of a new shop on Jonesboro road at the depot offering blacksmith and wood shop work by F J Garrison and Adams Bros and Easton. T. B. Farrer, agent for National Marble Granite Co of Marietta Ga, invites calls at Fayetteville to view marble and granite designs and prices for monumental work.
The Teachers Institute of this county begins June 6 for five days led by Prof. P. F. Brown from the State Normal. All county teachers should attend and trustees and patrons are urged to visit. Exams for teachers will be June 17 and 18 for those intending to teach in the county over the next year. Manuals include Denesmore's Teaching a Country School and school laws. W. N. D. Dixon, S. C.
