A Good Woman Passes to The Beyond
Mrs. Georgia Stokes 79 died last Saturday after a short illness in Fayetteville. Born Georgia Turnipseed near Hampton Henry County she married A E Stokes in 1875. Survived by sister Mrs Campbell and brother Oscar Turnipseed. five children born, two died in infancy and one son died young. Funeral at Mount Pleasant then Fayetteville cemetery.

Conductor Gains 18 Pounds on Tanlac from Drug Store
Capt. Eugene Parker of the L and N lines, living in Inglenook, credits Tanlac with restoring his health after severe stomach trouble. He reports gaining 18 pounds, renewed appetite, improved sleep, and ability to eat salt pork and cabbage. Tanlac is sold in several local outlets. Revival services at the Baptist church continue through the week, led by Rev. G. V. Davis, a noted Georgia divine.
