Reunion at Hopewell Meets in Memorial Service
The Hopewell reunion gathered with strong county representation. Only Messrs. Farr and Wright Cook survive from the eleven founders of the organization twenty four years ago. Thirteen deaths since last year’s meeting were reported by the memorial committee. President Farr called the session to order. J. W. Wise delivered an acclaimed address with speakers including Gen. James Shelnut Paul Linsey and W. H. McLarin.
