Death of Mrs. Claud Graham Landrum
Mrs. Claud Graham Landrum died Wednesday after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church conducted by Rev. W. H. Robinson with assistants. Born in 1878, she never lived outside Fayetteville and remained a faithful church member. She married B. H. Landrum January 25, 1911. She was well known and beloved for her kindness and loyalty.

Foxes Union Meeting at Ebenezer in Rain
Despite rain a sizable crowd gathered at Ebenezer for the Foxes Union meeting. Rev W J DeBardeleben spoke on farm life and opportunities for better farming while Miss Mary Creswell urged girls training for home-making and staff work. A canning demonstration followed with tomatoes provided. Secret session held in afternoon.

Memorial of Mrs Viola Kent R I P
Mrs Viola Kent wife of W S Kent died May 24 1913 after long illness at Red Oak. She raised three stepchildren and bore five children five sons and daughters four brothers and one sister survive with husband father and mother. She joined the Methodist church early and lived devoutly. Funeral at Red Oak Cemetery with a cousin noting her kindness and faith and urging readiness for the resurrection.
