The U S Civil Service Commission announces a Fayette Georgia motor rural carrier exam to be held in Fayetteville on August 14 1925. Salary ranges from 1500 to 1800 yearly. Open to male residents domiciled in the county with mail service. Applicants must provide vehicle details and apply to the Commission in Washington at the earliest date.

County Sunday School to Hold Annual Celebration August 13
The County Sunday School Association plans its annual celebration on the regular date the 2nd Friday in August the 13th. All county Sunday Schools are invited to bring a program and a special song. Two banners will be awarded for best program and best song. A fine speaker will address the gathering at eleven o clock. In Loving Memory of Little Effie Smith
On the sixteenth day of June the death angel took from Mr and Mrs James Smith their baby Effie aged about nine months. She grew ill Sunday and passed Monday night. The family grieves yet hope to meet Effie in a brighter world. Her loss is deeply felt by a sorrowing father mother and relatives.
