Southern passenger train No. 48 bound for Griffin collided with a freight train in the yards in Griffin Georgia. Engineer J H Hoffman of Atlanta was painfully injured after leaping from his cab. Engineer Dead From Self-Inflicted Wounds
C. H. Dunbar, 63, an Atlanta locomotive engineer, died in a local hospital after firing bullets into his breast. His wife was at his bedside. He had been invalid for years and retired from his throttle due to illness and age. He had been morose and low in spirits, according to his wife to hospital authorities. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
