Benicia California barracks announces that olive drab uniforms now in possession of enlisted men must be confiscated at once. The reason is that such uniforms make enlisted men look like officers and have led to several mistaken identities.
Burglars opened the Southern Express company safe at Palatka between 3 and 4 Sunday morning and carried off about $2000 in currency. Agent Graves was bound hand and foot while the robbers used his keys to access the cash drawer. Checks and money orders were left in disarray.
