W F Trammell lost his blacksmith shop to a fire last Friday at noon. Mise Ola Adams of Askein’s schoolhouse spent last week with her aunt Lizzie Meliwany. C Baker and wife were guests of R K Walker Sunday. J A Brown of Coweta County was here Sunday. Paul Ellington of Sandy Creek visited Will Harper Sunday. Rev Philips preached here. Sunday night saw Mr Walter Jarr’s storehouse event.
Woolsey family and Miss Jewell Lewis attended services at the first Baptist church in Atlanta. Mr. R. P. Minter and Gail Lewis returned from Charleston with reports of a pleasant trip. Prof. A K Snead of Hampton High School visited family to see his mother. Rev. Lem Hooten filled his monthly appointment and is well regarded as pastor. Mr. Arthur Wesley is very sick with grip.
