The Thirty-Fourth Annual Farmington Fair in Farmington New Mexico runs September 11 12 1913 featuring a parade escorting the Queen to the grounds at 1 90 p m events include Navajo horse races with 3 00 first prize and 2 00 second place a Navajo chicken pull and relay races between Aztec and Farmington High Schools plus a ball game for a 60 00 purse and an Indian dance at the Plaza Moving pictures and a baby show headline the program with safety displays from longtime county residents and spinning demonstrations as San Juan fruit exhibits draw crowds Free fruit for the hungry tops the notes
