Treasurer Hefl'n reports Liberty School District No. 20 bonds sold this week for 10 dollars above par. A 1000 dollar bond yielded a total of 1100 dollars.
Will Lawrence returns from Sunnyside Utah after visiting home folks and plans to go back in a couple weeks. He belongs to the scattered Tr’angie Club once organized by Miss Al’ce Powers three years ago. Members abroad include Robert Suwge mowssia Silverton at Portland Julius Pitvat Phoenx Arizona Frank McDonald Pagosa Springs Harry Woods Lingle Wyoming and Miss Powers teacher now in Kodaikanal Madura District South India. A meeting of all members would be difficult with members spread from the land of the rising sun to the sunset.
Farmington School will begin Tuesday September 2 instead of the first. Tuition for outside pupils is 1.00 per month for the first four grades, 1.50 for the next four, and 2.00 for the highest four grades. Country residents moving to town for winter to send children to school will not be charged. Interior remodeling and a large assembly for High School and 6th grade improve convenience. The high school staff vacancy is filled by Mr Culberson, a University Normal Las Vegas graduate, with strong endorsements.
Mrs. C. A. Conger and her Laplata children visited the Enterprise office Tuesday. They showed keen interest in the plant, printing presses, and typesetting machines. The visit was a memorable childhood moment and highlighted the newsroom as part of a child's education.

The New Mexico State Corporation Commission has postponed a hearing against Santa Fe, Rock Island and other railroad systems in the state. Interstate Commerce Commission members will hear evidence in Roswell and Albuquerque to seek reductions in discriminatory freight rates into New Mexico. The commission has hired a rail specialist attorney and will present with Mr Sieger son, former commission expert, to push for material rate reductions on Eastern shipments.
A farmer urges merchants to focus on home trade while criticizing town stores for shrinking business. He argues excess clerk hire rent and taxes raise costs and justify closing or consolidating shops. He asks merchants to reveal truth to the public before more stores fail.

One night engagement at Allen's Grand Opera House on Monday September 15 with reserved seats at Rexall Drug Store.

Submissions from subscribers praising staff help eligible workers gain promotion consideration.
