Narrow Escape After Thunderbolt Spooks Runaway Horses
Mrs. J. C. Strawn narrowly escaped death when a thunderbolt frightened a team belonging to E. T. Foster of Crouch Mesa. The horses charged a light buggy injuring it beyond repair and throwing Mrs. Strawn to the ground. She suffered bruises and a severe shock but was taken home and is improving.
