Mexican killer Garcia sentenced to life in prison
Juan Garcia confessed to the May murder of Martin Attencio at Ignacion and was sentenced by Judge Pike to life imprisonment at hard labor. Bernardino Attencio, found guilty as an accessory, drew two years. Garcia was sent to Canon City. Attencio's widow remains at Cherson county jail pending custody decisions for five children.
