Tragedy Near Lawton as Threshing Engine Dies Bridge
George McClain of Hulen was killed instantly east of Lawton Monday night when a threshing engine fell through a 40 foot bridge. McClain, steering the engine, leaves a wife and seven children. Cort Wilson of Hul en Gieran owned the outfit and was rescued after being pinned and aided by Wilson who found him with a lantern as the bridge collapsed.
