Thursday E Stone learned from Wapanucks that his brother Ivan Stone had a hand severed while working in the gun there. By Friday the word said the right hand was cut off about two inches above the wrist. Ivan, a well known Elgin figure who clerked in his brother's store, is insured with the Yeomen and will receive 250 dollars.

Fletcher Defeats Visitors In Rough Friday Basketball Game

Traded Routes Between Elgin and Brinkman Post Offices
Carrier A. J. James of Elgin and Carrier John Coat of Brinkman Okla agreed to transfer routes after approval by the department. Transfer set for February 1 1915. James began loading a car to ship goods to Brinkman this week and Cost will arrive before Feb 1 to assume duties. Cost has relatives near Fletcher and is brother in law of Fletcher Times editor. James has relatives near Brinkman who favor the switch.
