Three autos turned over near Lawton due to icy roads on Saturday. One car belonged to O A Putney with his wife son Harold and daughter Mrs Raymond Hurrel aboard. They were thrown out when brakes locked. none seriously hurt and all returned home that evening. Also a Bennett with an ear abscess confusion was clarified later. He was driven to Lawton for treatment with his parents. abscess had burst and was deemed worse than if lanced.

On October 7 1914 Comanche County Oklahoma commissioners asked the Governor to send an expert auditor to inspect offices. They state disfavor with the State Examiner and expenses incurred.
