In Perry, at James Morris residence on June 27 at 10 46 am, T A Lindenmeyer officiating, Nellie Mitchell of Stella Neb and Perry Shefferd of Stella Neb wed. The couple will reside on a Stella area farm amid warm wishes from relatives and friends. At Mr and Mrs Wm A Shock's home four miles southwest, Elizabeth May married Mr R L Moore of Dalhart Texas in a 7 pm ceremony with Rev W T Cline officiating. A wedding supper followed and the couple plan to be at home after July 20th in Colorado.

Society Notes Highlight Multiple Local Gatherings and Teas
Last Thursday at Council 610 K and L of S neck tie and apron social drew about 150 guests with supper partners chosen by tie buyers. Gypsy fortune teller drew major attention. Mrs. John Wilson hosted a Monday evening gathering with refreshments and a pleasant lawn setting. Ed Simanton of Colorado honored by Mrs. V. E. Simanton’s Monday event at their eastern city home. Episcopal church ladies held a Wednesday tea at the Rectory. Mrs. Peter Resterer hosted L. B. T. club on Wednesday afternoon on a shaded lawn with refreshments. Mrs. W Morrow entertained the Young Married Ladies Kensington club for a delightful Wednesday. Christian Church ladies held a 10 cent tea at Mrs. James Powell’s home. Miss Bowers supervised Brethren S.S. children on a Monday picnic to Pirate Mine. John Benschoter, now in western parts, spent Sunday with local friends.

Visitors from Omaha Honor Falls City with Trade Boosters
The Omaha Trade Boosters visited Falls City on Friday aboard a full excursion train. Mayor Barrett and local businessmen greeted the guests who toured retail merchants and distributed souvenirs. Notables included J. C. Dahlman and T. W. McCullough, with many local firms represented among the visiting delegation. A lawn social and upcoming Ak-Sar-Ben festivities are noted, along with obituaries for George W. Carpenter and John Bauer.

Two Baseball Nines Promised For Fourth Of July
Mrs J C Maust organizes two teams from Sunday School with twenty six boys. They will play at Poteets park next Wednesday July 4 at 3 30 pm. Admission ten cents ladies free. Proceeds fund a gymnasium for winter sports for the class. Support the boys and enjoy the Fourth at home.
