Burglary at Cleveland Bros Store and Local Jurisdiction Meeting
A Sunday night break in at Cleveland Bros store resulted in theft of twelve to fifteen dollars in cash and a fur overcoat valued at twenty five dollars after an intruder tore a section of iron sheeting. The Tribune office window and Joe Geiger's shop door were also forced during the incident. The Farmer's Institute is set for January 27 and 28 at Falls City Court House with State Superintendent Mc Brien attending the evening of the 28th.

Sorosis Club Meeting Reviews Civil Service Reform And Dickens
The Sorosis club met at the episcopal rectory with Mrs. Smith on a snowy Wednesday. Mrs. J C Yutzy presented Dickens Impressions of America while Mrs A G Warner discussed The Tale of Two Cities revealing much about the book and author. Mrs C M Wilson read Civil Service Reform, Mrs P S Sleacock spoke on agricultural pursuits, and current event topics focused on late inventions. Refreshments were served by Mrs Smith and Miss Grace Maddox, with plans to meet again in two weeks with Mrs A G Wanner.
