Attendants were Rev Thornburg and Maude Moore Ruth Moore played wedding music. The couple will reside near Morrill Kansas. Parents are A M Saylor of Morrill and Mrs Saylor. Death of Henry Rieger Pioneer of Richardson County
Henry Rieger died at 7 20 am Tuesday February 7 1905 at age 70 years 2 months 21 days in his city home. Born November 17 1834 in Byron Germany he came to the United States in 1842 later settling six miles east of the city before moving to town seven years ago. He married first in 1854 to Lelia Elfrich and had eight children Carrie Schaible Herman Zoellers M J Schaible Charles William Edward Henry and Rosa Banks. His first wife died in 1891. he remarried in 1898 to Mrs Lawler who with the children survives. He was a member of the German Evangelical church. Funeral from the family residence with Rev Manshardt officiating. Burial in Zion cemetery six miles northeast of the city. Sincere sympathy extended to the sorrowing relatives.
