On September 17 1895 the board heard verbal reports from the commissioners of insanity about the asylum and inmates at the poor farm. They urged improved grounds and buildings for the insane, action to be considered at the next meeting. Audits approved per diem and mileage for RK DuBois J W Taylor and Frank Hurst. the board adjourned to November 12.
