Hawker’s Hawk Attack Causes Blood Poisoning
Earlville Iowa May 11 Frank Goerdt Sr suffered severe blood poisoning after a large chicken hawk, shot by him, revived and grabbed his hands with its claws. Family killed the bird to free him. Medical care followed as infection developed and raised grave concern.
