Martin Hersiow of Summit New Jersey died Saturday January 11 at the Jacobs near Salina where he was a guest. He was 46 and tuberculosis caused death. Remains were brought to this city and shipped to New Jersey for burial. A wife and three children survive.

Death Claims Clyde Smith After Illness in Fairfield
Clyde Smith died at his Fairfield home January 10 after a weeklong pneumonia illness. He was born near Stockport September 10, 1895, and died at age 23. He married Sarah Lathrop on December 25, 1915. Surviving are his father, two sisters and three brothers. his mother preceded him six years ago. Funeral services were held Saturday at Evergreen cemetery with Rev. L. E. Kuhns officiating.
