Trustees Name New Ames Building Central Hall
At Iowa State College trustees rejected alumni demand to name the new building Beardshear Hall, designating it Central Hall instead. The board approved plans for a $333,000 agricultural hall with a total budget of $371,000 and sought state aid, while moving Catt library to the museum and naming Prof. Frank C. French associate professor of civil engineering with a $1700 salary.
