Selectmen Up Budget Request For Town Plan
The Board of Selectmen recommend adding 142 032 to a 170 6 million town budget for 2002 03. They kept cuts to the school budget while restoring 265 000 for a Perry's Green bulkhead in Southport. The panel approved a full time registrar secretary and rejected cuts to salaries and travel stipends, with final approval by the Board of Finance before June 30.
