School board unites on elementary plan amid debate over high school strategy
The Fairfield Board of Education approved a long term elementary space plan to open a new school update eight existing buildings and add space while continuing to weigh costs for high school options including a ninth grade center amid overcrowding concerns. The vote passed unanimously though some members criticized slow consensus and a PT A representative urged quicker action.
