Jonathan Lauder of Buchanan township died Friday at age 64 after a thirty year residency on his farm. Born in Indiana February 202, he married Matilda Hutchinson on September 1 and moved to Iowa. They had nine children, seven of whom live in Jefferson county. burial followed on Sunday at Antioe cemetery.

The city hears of the death of Mrs John Mc Whirter of East Jefferson Street on the approaching age of 79. Funeral services are set for Tuesday at the home by Rev W Luther Bright. Judge Vermillion issued decrees in two Wallick cases awarding Emma Wallick support and a one third factory interest. The Wallick mitten factory corporation retains two thirds.
