Masons Hear War Talk at Grand Lodge Session
June meeting of the Iowa Grand Lodge of Masons drew hundreds of visiting Masons and guests despite the heat. Sergeant Harold Saektwin of the Canadian Army and former Congressman N. W. Kendall delivered patriotic speeches affirming American resolve to win the war and defend liberty, with Kendall recalling past campaigns and stressing unity beyond partisan divides.
