The Modern Woodman of America Fairfield camp 246 held Decoration day for their honored dead. Members gathered at the hall and marched to the cemetery led by Commander District Deputy W A Randall. Services at graves included prayers by Rev Thomas Osborn and a brief address by Rev H C Littleton followed by floral offerings.

Death of Mrs. Ingalls A Longtime Jefferson County Resident
Mrs. Nancy Ingalls, aged about 80, died at her Fairfield home on West Burlington Street after a long life in Jefferson County. Born in Morgan County Illinois near Jacksonville, she came with her husband Alphonso Ingalls forty two years ago and leaves eight children, three daughters and five sons, with W Spaulding and J J Webb among survivors. Her mind remained clear to the end and she passed peacefully with family nearby.
