Actor John Drew Injured After Horse Incident in Central Park

Gas Tank Explosion Wipes Out Hamburg Workmen
Hamburg December 8. Two gas tanks at Kleine's Grasbrook exploded after a leak in a new gasometer. Ten dead and seventeen missing as a fierce blaze and a towering inferno sent pieces of glowing coke over the city. The plant housed 25 workers near the gasometer and the huge structure held 200000 double meters. City had appropriated 3,500,000 for its construction.
