From France to Camp Life in 1918 Letter
A soldier writes from a French village about stone houses and mossy roofs, local life, and the lack of war news. He describes wash basins, fresh water taste, trees marked for reserves, and longing for mail from home while awaiting calmer days. He notes fellow Seattle boys and hopes for visits to nearby towns.
