This coming Monday April 26 is a full holiday granted through the generosity of Rev James H Dolan S J Rector of Fairfield University. Such a holiday, traditional annually in Jesuit schools, comes at this opportune spring season when many are interested in cultivating their noble emotions.
The University Glee Club opened its first concert Wednesday to praise from Bellarmine Guild and Fathers Club. Director Simon Harak announced twins born Tuesday, and plans for radio programs. Rev. Daniel Linehan spoke on seismology and earthquake recording.
The class of 1951 spring promenade at Norwalk Shore and Country Club will feature Bob Weller and his Orchestra Friday evening. Dinners priced 42.25 to 43.50, seven courses, with reservations. Committee members announce reservations, table options, dress code, and pledge details for Fairfield University attendees.
John Reynaud will represent Fairfield at a gathering hosted by Albertus Magnus College in New Haven on Sunday afternoon. The event brings Foreign Affairs Club members from Albertus Magnus Holy Cross College and Fairfield University for an informal discussion at 2 15 P M. Reynaud will discuss The Present Palestine Situation.
Student Council finishes a constitution draft and plans a meeting next Tuesday inviting two representatives from each class to discuss the document.
