Plane Crash Injures Two Men In Adams County
Two Adams County men were injured when a rented plane clipped high tension wires and crashed in a field near Heidlersburg. Pilot Earl Resrath, 24, was treated at Gettysburg hospital for cuts and bruises. His uncle Grant Rexrath, 92, was admitted with a dislocated shoulder and fractured pelvis. The crash occurred near Donald E. Lady’s home after striking 115000 volt lines. Lady aided at the scene as the plane landed inverted and burned. Rexrath later died at the scene as Dr. P. J.
