Fredonia Brevities From Our Special Reporter
Scarlet fever has broken out in the family of Mr. Bishop. Henry Clark plans to go east for new goods. President Wilcox and Superintendent Fenner order Floral Hall decor for the Northern Chautauqua Fair. Barker Brewer Bargiore and Brower prepare plans. The new gas well shows gas at 30 and 70 feet, likely reaching deeper in two weeks. If no oil, columns may resign to despair. The Eagle sheet cut is decried as unkindest cut. Trustee doubts the trade line near China. Shoulder should protect roots and allow driveways into property. Repairs cannot be avoided. knotts must be cut and dirt filled to finish a permanent improvement. Mill street widening aids Eagle street. Damaged lots could be restored.
