Little Mullets at Play House Receives Poor Advance
Jennie Cates stars in Little Mullets at the Play House. Misa Calef gains a reputation but the show suffers from weak book and uneven company. The reviewer notes scant detail, strong advertising curtain, and praise for Joe Derby's trap curtain design while criticizing supporting players and overall production quality.

Sessions Trial Proceedings Resume With Defense Arguments
The Sessions trial resumed this afternoon as Henry Smith for the defense argued the jury should seek corroboration of Bradley’s story before convicting a man of Sessions’ reputation. He claimed Bradley’s act was more despicable than Donnel’s murder of Carey, while Ife contended a lack of proof warrants a verdict of not guilty. Testimony of Walley and Austin was read by counsel, and Conway and Ingersoll were sworn for the defense. New details emerged about Bradley discussing voting for Depew and advising Sessions to act, prompting sharp cross-examination by the attorney-general.
