St Paris in ruins after devastating town fire

A large blaze wiped out much of the St Paris district causing extensive damage to Golden's tin shop and numerous stores. The inferno, reported Nov 29, left the town largely in ruins with estimated losses near 370,000. Firefighters fought through the night with insurance claims mounting. Windsor Theater Fire Blazes Through Bowery

Fire at the Windsor Theater 45 Bowery New York broke out shortly before midnight. The blaze spread quickly and the theater was destroyed along with adjacent structures.
