Child Dies After Fire Burns In Madison Township
In Newark on May 23 a six year old child of David and Mary Elia Ellis died from severe burns after clothing caught fire from a stove in their Madison township home. Mrs Ellis left children inside while fetching an errand to the barn. The child Hertha, burned from knees to face, died after hours of agony, at one o clock the next night.
