Michael Mister lived in Hinsdale village for four years. The wife of Erie’s interillionaire Senator Morrow B Lowry, a native of Chautauqua County, was made public Tuesday. Lawrence Oliphant, the noted author, has moved to Mount Carmel in Palestine and writes letters for Blackwood’s Magazine. Frent Gardner, a drayman on the Philadelphia & Erie Railroad, was killed in Kane after an altercation with a teamster. the teamster escaped. Gardner was under Conducter Levit. A new Good Templars Lodge, the Welcone Temperance Society, was formed at Westfield with Mrs G F Dickson supervising. Electees included Miss Addie Al Coombs, Minnie Beecher, Ida Kore, and others. secretaries and captains listed.
