Special Dispatch to the Evening Observer from Avrooxa Pennsylvania reports two brakemen deaths after a rail accident. William Brady died after being struck by cars following an earlier incident caused by brakeman Hines who had Brady’s forgiveness before dying. Hines himself was killed by a separate car incident the same night, both men of the same age.
One hundred sixty six doctors graduated yesterday at the Bellevue Hospital New York Medical College. The river at Memphis has declined five inches in the last day. The fall is expected to continue, with two more feet needed to bring it within the banks.
