New Fast Mail trains to run New York Chicago

Arrangements announced for a special fastmail train between New York and Chicago leaving at 6 50 p m and arriving Albany 1 03 a m. The service connects with postal cars from the New England States and will pass through Linton and other hubs with through mail deliveries to the West. The first through run departs New York next Saturday night.

Shooting in Topeka alters two lives and murderer at large

At Topeka Kansas a race related shooting last night left George Blackburn killed and Peter Bloodsoe mortally wounded. Isaiah McClary identified as the killer and remains at large after the victims allegedly were close to McClary’s wife. Pallore of Oil Dromore New York reports A L Lowrie from Oil City and New York Petroleum Exchanges failed. One hundred thousand barrels closed out to his account. Mee Ryder and A F Medingd also announced at the National Petroleum Exchange amid a weak market and demoralized conditions. Hood's Sarsaparilla is advertised in the notice.
